# What's with the name?

**Safrootics** is derived from the Arabic word **Safroot** (Sæ&#x66;*/rut),* which is used to describe something that is tiny and very fast, like a short but speedy football player.

Safrootics describes the game perfectly and sounds very unique when pronounced right (or even wrong):joy:
